Lisbon Area Health Service
3rd Annual Foundation Gala
Raises over $29,000
Lisbon Area Health Services (LAHS) 3rd Annual Foundation
was held the evening of November 18th at the Ransom County
Expo Building on the Ransom County Fair Grounds. The theme
for the night was “The Fabulous Fifties” and many dressed
the part for the evening.
The evening started with a social hour, with the Cattleman’s
providing refreshments, and participants looking over the
many silent auction baskets donated by the surrounding
communities, and the employees from LAHS. The program
started shortly after 7pm with Jill McRitchie, the night’s
MC, giving a walk down memory lane. After a prayer given by
Father Finnestad, Captain T’s Catering served a wonderful
meal to 386 in attendance.
After dinner, Tara Greenely, the new Foundation Director,
shared many thank you’s to all who made the evening
possible. Peggy Larson, Administrator, spoke on behalf of
the facility and presented a video that was filmed during
the Ransom County Fair weekend. The film included footage
from the fair, the parade, the hospital, and the success
stories from three special LAHS patients.
The Raffle winners were drawn and the winners were:
- 40 in TV - Andrea Olson
- Murphy Mountain Lodge - Richard Fry
- $150 Sundale Colony Meat Bundle - Charlie Armstrong
- Cutco Knife Set - Matt Olson
- Teal’s $50 Certificate - Marie Carol
- Lisbon Oil $50 Certificate - Alex Drake
Colonel Dale Haugen donated his auctioneer services for the
live auction portion of the evening. His expertise and humor
made the live auction a big success. Thanks Dale! Following
the live auction was the closing of the two different areas
of silent auction items.
The evening festivities continued with a dance, with music
provided by “The Front Fenders”. |
