LAHS Host Visitors from the Indigenous Peoples Hospital of the Philippines

On September 27, 2011 Sr. Mary Phillip and Sr. Norma Manzano, hospital administrators from the Philippines, and Luke Larson, CHI Fargo Division visited Lisbon Area Health Services (LAHS). They arrived to a welcome from many employees and then toured part of the facility, before stopping for lunch. A traditional chicken and rice meal had been prepared by the dietary department, and employees were encouraged to join in for fellowship with the guests from the Philippines.

The visit was part of an International Mission Program that CHI, Fargo Division, is a participating member. The partnership with the Indigenous People’s Hospital is intended to be a mutually beneficial relationship to promote understanding of other cultures and healthcare.
